11:30 am: Meet at the beach! Directions from Boston:Take I-93 S to MA-3 S. Take exit 11 off MA-3 S. Turn right onto MA-14 E. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit and stay on MA-14 E. Continue straight onto St. George St. Turn left onto Powder Point Ave. Turn left onto Powder Point Bridge. Once over bridge turn left into resident parking lot. Park in the resident lot + follow signs onto the beach to meet up with fellow Seals and their families!
11:45 am: Dunk Time! And by "dunk" we mean tap your toe, dip to your hip or if you're feeling really inspired (+ brave), dive and swim like a real seal. Please bring a swimsuit & change of clothes for your child. Towels & event t-shirts will be provided at the beach! Our kids often dry off and dress in our car after a swim at this beach, but there are also bathrooms at the Duxbury Bay Maritime School if they'd prefer to do so at the after-party.
12:15 pm: Leave the beach for the after-party celebration! Directions to the Duxbury Bay Maritime School, 457 Washington Street, Duxbury, MA (dbms.org), will be handed out at the beach. It is just a little over a mile away and parking is available.
12:30 to 2:30 pm: Let's party! Lunch for all catered by Chef's Table, magic show and brief award ceremony and program to celebrate your tremendous effort on behalf of Boston Children's Hospital Ophthalmology!
